About Pawttawa Walks
Chanse (he/him), founder
In May 2022, Chanse decided to use his previous experience as a dog groomer, walker, trainer, and boarder to finally found his own company, Pawttawa Walks. Chanse also brings with him years of experience within customer relations, social media, and management roles.
Chanse is proudly part of the LGBTQIA+ community, with part of his reasoning for founding the company being to bring another queer owned business to the region, one that encapsulates inclusivity not only for its employees, but for its clients as well.
While opening one's own business is no simple feat, Chanse is constantly undergoing training and exploring new possibilities to make Pawttawa Walks the best it can be for his clients.
Chanse owns two working line German Shepherds, whom he uses as his demo dogs and with whom he competes in various dog sport disciplines. Not only for their own enjoyment, but for the goal of being able to teach these sports to his clients down the road. Megan (she/her), Dog Walker
Megan joined the Pawttawa Walks team on a part time basis in the summer of 2023. While she appreciates all breed of dogs, her favourite breed is definitely the Golden Retriever!
You can find Megan leading pack walks on Wednesday, Thursday, and Fridays, and occasionally taking care of boarding dogs.
On the other days of the week, Megan is a registered Respiratory Therapist at the Royal Victoria Hospital.
