About Pawttawa Walks
Chanse (he/him), founder
In May 2022, Chanse decided to use his previous experience as a dog groomer, walker, trainer, and boarder to finally found his own company, Pawttawa Walks. Chanse also brings with him years of experience within customer relations, social media, and management roles.
Chanse is proudly part of the LGBTQIA+ community, with part of his reasoning for founding the company being to bring another queer owned business to the region, one that encapsulates inclusivity not only for its employees, but for its clients as well.
While opening one's own business is no simple feat, Chanse is constantly undergoing training and exploring new possibilities to make Pawttawa Walks the best it can be for his clients.
Chanse owns two working line German Shepherds, whom he uses as his demo dogs and with whom he competes in various dog sport disciplines. Not only for their own enjoyment, but for the goal of being able to teach these sports to his clients down the road. Brianna (she/her), Dog Walker
Brianna joined Pawttawa Walks in Fall 2024. Her first introduction to dogs as a career was her experience as a bather at PetSmart from early 2020 to late 2021, where she had a chance to work with a wide variety of dog breeds. After leaving her job as a bather, she took some time to pursue further education and work in the tech industry.
Brianna currently has one dog, a Czech working line German Shepherd Dog (her very first dog of her own!). The learning and development she experienced in owning an intense, high-drive dog led her to want to return to the dog industry. She plans to trial with him in protection sports (IGP), in addition to other sport venues, starting in 2025.
When she is not training her dog, you’ll find her walking dogs, playing with her dog and her boarding dogs, grooming her dog, reading about dog sports, researching dogs… You get the idea.
